Looking for a job that balances the excitement of private practice but the fulfillment of a non-profit hospital? If you are a new grad wanting to make a difference, or an experienced clinician tired of not being able to treat patients due to owner’s lack of funds, we are the clinic for you. Ten years ago, our clinic was founded as a refuge for animals in need and as a referral center for all those in financial distress. The clinic is located in Kingman, Arizona, a rural area in northern Arizona. Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic is an AAHA accredited, Humane Alliance based HVHQSN Clinic, combined with a low-income full-service veterinary office. With the benefits of a rural community and located just over 1 hour from Las Vegas, Kingman offers a unique combination of mountain views, nearby lakes, and a beautiful desert landscape. We are looking to add a fourth veterinarian to our busy practice. Our ideal Veterinarian has a deep passion for spay/neuter and shelter medicine, a positive attitude, and is committed to helping others in need. Our clinic has all high-tech equipment including digital xray dental and full body systems, fully equipped in house IDEXX labs, US, and surgical cautery. We will also be expanding to a new 8,000sq ft modern facility that combines our low-income clinic and shelter in August 2021.  Our facility performs care besides spay and neuter, including shelter medicine, dentals, preventive and sick pet care, acupuncture, emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and many other specialty surgeries. We provide all care for local area shelters/rescues and have a very active TNR program.  All our doctors have varied interests which provides great mentorship and the ability to find your niche. Through various grant programs and high volume of clients, we are able to provide care for all those who come to our clinic and perform many referral surgeries. Our caseload is extremely diverse and great way to expand your clinical skills while making a difference. We have a great doctor/technician ratio and a dedicated staff with a low turnover rate. Interested?

About Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic is a humane alliance model clinic that has primarily provided spay/neuter and wellness services to the community for 8 years. Our mission is to provide great care for every animal despite an owners income. This past year our clinic expanded to a new 3,000 sq. ft facility and now provides further medical and surgical care for animals in the tri-state area. Daily we perform 25-30 spay/neuter surgeries with office calls and our services have grown to include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, in house labs, xray, and shelter services. This clinic provides the sole care for 3 surrounding municipal shelters, 12+ rescues, and has a healthy fund to help with medical costs for those animals in need. The clinic has created multiple voucher programs to increase S/N in the community and has an active TNR program. We have a very dedicated staff with 9 technicians and healthy supply of volunteers.
