Our hospital is looking to engage a full-time associate veterinarian to join our collaborative team, providing excellent and progressive care. We have the capacity to be 7 full-time veterinarians, with practitioners who have special interests in surgery and ultrasound as well as integrative medicine and rehabilitation.  While we have a modern, fully-equipped hospital, our biggest asset is our work environment and our culture.  We have an incredible, hard-working and diverse staff. We are a very fast-paced practice but we also expend significant efforts to foster an active sense of community, engaging in supervision and mentoring.  We have on-going conversations around work-life balance throughout the practice: at daily rounds, at team and doctor meetings, and at our leadership meetings every 6-8 weeks – where we close for half of a day and work with our outside-practice advisor.  We support and encourage constant “sharpening of our saws” with education, collaboration, mentoring, and frequent consultation which requires open-minded, transparent communication. We are a family owned hospital. We encourage time off for sustained recovery and longevity - both in our practice and personal life relationships. We provide care for an eclectic group of clients, many of whom have been with our practice almost 25 years.
