An established small, but extremely busy, full-service predominantly small animal hospital is in need of an additional full-time Veterinarian. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task with high accuracy and have good communication skills. Experience is preferred, and salary will be determined by experience. Candidate MUST be willing to do surgery and dental procedures. We offer a full array of benefits. NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with experience and/or any additional board certifications. A sign -on bonus will be considered for the right person.

About Albemarle Animal Hospital, PLLC
1) A 4-day work week with No call except for questions about hospitalized patients on a rotational weekend 2) CME stipend $1000 per year with receipts for tax purposes 3) Paid time off- 7 days per year minimum - more is negotiable based on experience 4) Monogrammed scrubs provided at no cost 5) BCBS 75/25 PPO Health Plan; 75% borne by employer and 25% borne by employee 6) Paid bi-weekly 7) Direct deposit available 8) AFLAC coverage available at 100% borne by employee 9) Dental plan 100% borne by employer 10) Vision plan 100% borne by employer 11) 100% dues paid by employer for the following: NCVMA, Licensure, DEA, AVMA 12) After 2 years of employment in either January or July participation in company IRA plan 13) Employee discount on hospital services 14) At least 7 paid holidays – more at the owner’s discretion depending on what day of the week the Holiday falls 15) Paid Maternity/Paternity leave 16) Salary offered will be commensurate on experience
