Looking to maintain or expand your soft tissue and orthopedic skills? Look no further.

Northwest Animal Care Hospital is seeking an experienced general practitioner/surgeon to join our collaborative team. We are a well-established, privately owned small animal practice located near Mill Creek, WA; just 30 minutes north of Seattle. Our staff of assistants and licensed technicians are highly skilled, self-sufficient and can provide support for doctors at a level that is unique in our industry.

Our state-of-the-art hospital and surgical suite are furnished with:

  • Digital Radiology (including dental)
  • 45W Super Pulse Luxar surgical laser
  • Desoutter orthopedic equipment (saws and drills) with battery packs
  • TPLO and fracture repair equipment
  • Class IV therapeutic laser
  • Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation suite
  • IDEXX in-house laboratory
  • 5-6/1 support staff to DVM ratio

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to perform soft tissue & orthopedic surgeries
  • Eager to see outpatient appointments
  • Focused on providing exceptional patient care and superior client service
  • Maintains a positive can-do attitude; eager to learn and grow
  • Effective use of written and verbal communication
  • Works collaboratively with associate veterinarians and support staff
  • Multitasker; working quickly and efficiently

Benefits include:

  • Compensation of $120,000-$135,000 DOE (4 day work week with alternating Saturdays)
  • Benefit package valued over $16,000-$18,000 annually
    • CE allowance - $3,000 value
    • PTO - $6,500-$8,500 value
    • Health insurance - $6,000 value
    • Simple IRA with 3% matching
    • Association, liability and licensure dues - $1,000 value
