Are you the chosen one?  Maybe!  Keep reading to find out!

Sault Animal Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our team.  We are searching for a highly motivated individual that is eager to challenge their comfort level and to help us grow.

Sault Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital serving the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, as well as the Tip of the Mitt.  We have a varied and challenging case load ranging from wellness visits to advanced orthopedic/soft tissue surgery and complicated medical cases.  Our clients are excellent and willing to provide the best they can for their pets.  We also have an excellent support staff with a staff:vet ratio of  5:1.  We are interested in getting the best fit, not just the next warm body, as long term opportunities are definitely available.

However, the devil is always in the details, so:  Salary is negotiable (in the past it has been pro/sal- paid monthly with no negative accruement), medical, disability, SIMPLE plan with matching are offered as well.  We strive to maintain a good work/life balance with no weekend hours.  Emergency service is shared with other clinics in the area.

The area is a great place to live and play!  Outdoor activities are numerous, from hiking, snowshoeing, and X-county skiing, to hunting and fishing and everything in between.  Da Soo (as the city is affectionately called) is also home to Lake Superior State College and the Sault Tribe of the Chippewa.  We definitely have plenty of opportunities for winter sports, such as the I500.

So, if you are interested in learning about the opportunities available to you with us, please give us a call at 906-635-5910, or email at jlahuis@saultanimalhospital.com

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Salary negotiable
