Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center is recruiting bright professionals to join our team here on the island of Oahu.  Home to world famous beaches, centuries of unique culture and gentle weather, Hawaii is the change of scenery you are looking for.  Our hospital sits in the heart of downtown Honolulu and delivers 24-hour emergency care under the direction of veteran ER vets and board-certified specialists.

The successful candidate for the position of Emergency Veterinarian will have significant ER experience or be internship-trained, motivated, and energetic.  Our emergency veterinarians are responsible for a variety of surgical procedures, and an ideal candidate for the position would be enthusiastic about the opportunity to perform emergency surgeries.  We are looking for someone who fits in well with our team, someone driven to practice up to date medicine and someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills. VERC thrives on teamwork and collaboration to deliver exceptional services to our patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.

Our exceptional staff includes specialists in critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, radiology, and anesthesia, as well as highly trained and experienced emergency veterinarians. Our plans for 2021 include an update to our facility, the addition of a board-certified neurologist and anesthesiologist, and the installation of a dedicated veterinary MRI.

Currently, VERC is proud to provide 24-hour emergency and critical care, CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house laboratory services, endoscopy, (including laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and arthroscopy), fluoroscopy, and off-site MRI.
