Who we need:

  1. Experienced ER Veterinarians (2)

  2. Board-Certified Emergency Care Specialists (2)

  3. Veterinary Technicians (several)

Although individuals are encouraged to apply, this is also an excellent opportunity for a team of criticalists who love working together but need a positive professional change.

How to respond: Send all applications to vets@carrtalent.com

Where: We are located in a nice convenient suburban community just west of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, with easy access to beaches, the Everglades, etc., where you can raise a family and enjoy all of the benefits of the South Florida lifestyle without the congestion of Miami. And for those who love Miami, it’s only 40 minutes away.

Who we are in: We are a 24/7 emergency and specialty/referral companion animal hospital. We were founded with an emphasis on life-saving disciplines including emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and oncology. We believe in the expertise, quality, service, and integrity, and we practice what we preach. We are committed to expanding our team of exceptional individuals, all of whom are dedicated to the creation of a healthy supportive working environment and value collaboration, compassion, and humility.

Our brand-new facility includes a fully equipped ICU/emergency room, as well as a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy/laparoscopy, CT, surgical suites, long-term ventilator, fluoroscopy, dedicated space for the development of extracorporeal therapy service, and other capacities appropriate to a new state-of-the-art facility.

What you will be doing: The successful applicants would be directing and expanding an existing ECC service as our present criticalist returns to academia for a second residency.

What we need: We are seeking self-motivated, energetic, team-oriented individuals to oversee and operate the emergency and critical care services with the support of our team of specialists and experienced ER doctors. Expertise, proficiency, and publication in specific subspecialty areas of emergency and critical care medicine are appreciated. Specifically, ACVECC diplomates with advanced training and proficiency in renal replacement therapies, diplomates with additional certifications (e.g. ACVIM or ACVS), and bilingual (Spanish) specialists are particularly needed in our community. Those who may be able to bring additional qualified team members to our community (e.g. veterinary technician specialists) are encouraged to apply.

Why our people love to work here and what’s in it for you:

We are growing, and fun – you would be instrumental in helping create something extraordinary.

Compensation: Salary, benefits, and schedules are all HIGHLY competitive.

We are in Florida – Any of you reading this from a sub-freezing location? When our founder left New York for his first job in Florida, it was 5 degrees in Ithaca and 74 degrees in Ft Lauderdale. Given the choice, he chose here! We all work hard but we also live very well. The Ft Lauderdale/Miami area has tons of activities, food, culture, and easy access to the Caribbean and beyond. It reliably feels like vacation.

We are not corporate – The owners are clinicians, working and making decisions side-by-side with the entire team. We support and empower our team members and we make a personal commitment to the quality of your opportunity as a purposeful calling and a career.

High-level Medicine: We have a fully equipped ICU/emergency room, as well as a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy/laparoscopy, CT, surgical suites, long-term ventilator, fluoroscopy, and dedicated space for the development of an extracorporeal therapy service and other capacities. It is important to us to demonstrate that you will have freedom in how you practice with your expertise and proficiency. Our life-saving discipline also includes internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and oncology. Though maybe you have advanced training in renal replacement therapies you want to pursue… Either way, we feel strongly about your continued education, publication efforts, and innovations in specific subspecialty areas that you believe in.

Great Camaraderie: We have a workplace culture based on strong communication and organizational skills. We garner compassionate, nurtured relationships that extend to our collaborative network of diverse partnerships with referring vets. It is important to us that you hear us say how we will invest in you because we focus on creating fun celebrations and workable solutions together, and you can ask any of our team members.

 Send all inquiries to vets@carrtalent.com

We are committed to a drug-free, diverse workforce as an equal opportunity employer where all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, creed, sex, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status, sexual or affectional preference, or gender identity or expression, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. And if you need assistance or an accommodation during the application process because of a disability, we are pleased to assist you upon request.

NOTES:
5 openings.
