Get to know your clients well in our progressive mixed animal clinic located in beautiful North Central Idaho.  Our ever-expanding clientele is clamoring for another small animal veterinarian with surgical interest and ability.  Our large practice radius means we perform numerous soft tissue surgeries daily in addition to a heavily booked appointment schedule.  Hard tissue surgeries are limited but could be expanded if the interest is there.  There is currently a backlog of new clients waiting in the wings, as our current 4 vets cannot keep up.  We do both in-house and mobile calls, using 2 well-stocked pickup trucks. We have digital radiography, 2 ultrasound machines and Idexx laboratory machines (CBC/chemistry, urinalysis with Sedivue) to assist with diagnoses.  Close to referral facilities in Pullman, Washington (Washington State University), Spokane, Washington and Boise, Idaho.  Computerized billing and record keeping.  Emergency calls and weekend duties shared equally.  Four day workweek, lots of places to go play on your days off.  We have excellent hunting, fishing, camping, rafting/boating and hiking within 100 miles.

Surgical skills and interest

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently if necessary.

Reliable 4-wheel drive vehicle
