Winsted Hospital for Animals has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our small animal hospital. We are a three-doctor practice well-known for providing quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. The doctors believe in an outstanding work-life balance with no emergency calls.

Our friendly atmosphere and inviting work environment offers a caring and experienced support staff dedicated to our patients, clients, and the community.

The practice also regularly sees clients from Guiding Eyes for the Blind and ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities.

We are located in Barkhamsted, CT, a bedroom community of Hartford and Waterbury. The area not only offers all that those cities provide, but the Farmington River offers excellent kayaking and canoeing, while the state forests have many miles of hiking trails, open year-round for outdoor recreation.

We offer a generous salary, 401(k), medical benefits, CE allowance, professional dues, and liability coverage. In addition, we also support employee wellbeing with medical benefits (including health, dental, and vision), vacation, employee assistance program (EAP), growth opportunities, and so much more.

We are so proud of our practice and would love to tell you about our community-based approach to veterinary care. Apply today!
