Hotham’s Veterinary Services, Inc. is currently seeking a talented veterinarian (small animal or mixed animal) to join our rapidly growing, veterinary practices in pristine Northern Maine. We currently have practices located in both Presque Isle and Houlton, Maine.  We currently have four practicing veterinarians and are looking to add a fifth doctor.  Our practices are known for being thorough and for offering the best medicine and surgery to our patients, delivered with compassion and integrity.  

Both facilities have all the bells and whistles needed to practice top quality medicine and surgery. Some of the equipment includes a complete in-house laboratory, surgical and dental suite, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and Fuji digital radiology systems.  Our ambulatory equipment includes a full sized truck with a Bowie box, portable ultrasound, wireless Fuji DR radiology system, and a complete set of power dental floats.

Our well-trained support staff is committed to providing outstanding service and veterinary care to our patients. We offer reasonable hours, an excellent salary and full benefits. Experience is preferred, but we encourage new graduates to apply.

The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, be self-sufficient and a team player, possess the desire to practice compassionate, high quality medicine.  Strong surgical skills would be a bonus.
