Nashville Veterinary Specialists in Nashville, TN seeks an Emergency Veterinarian to join our rapidly growing 24-hour emergency and specialty practice. Our goal is to expand our current emergency doctor team at our Nashville location to have dedicated roles including the day, swing, and night time emergency intake doctors, as well as day and night time hospitalists overseeing ICU patients.

We have also recently opened a new location in Clarksville , where we are looking to hire an additional FT ER DVM to allow us to move to 24/7.

We are interested in speaking with internship trained and/or experienced ER DVMs.

With a referral base of more than 200 veterinarians and a growing emergency caseload, our hospital currently employs a robust emergency doctor team and one Criticalist. We are actively looking for a second Criticalist. Other on-site Specialists include: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Dermatology, telemedicine Radiology services, and Canine Rehabilitation. We also have a growing internship program and many of our interns stay with us as emergency doctors.

Our specialty equipment includes:

• MRI
• digital radiography
• ultrasound
• echocardiography
• laparoscopy
• endoscopy
• cystoscopy
• electrodiagnostics.

Round-the-clock care is provided for all our patients through our 24-hour emergency services and a fully functioning ICU. Our hospital is a newly constructed approximately 14,000 square foot facility, and we are currently expanding to provide more dedicated space for our growing specialty team.
