West Chester Veterinary Medical Center is looking for an emergency veterinarian to join our amazing team! 

West Chester is an AAHA accredited full service animal hospital in beautiful Chester County Pennsylvania. Our hospital has everything you need to practice high-quality medicine including a full Idexx suite of in-house lab equipment, ultrasound, digital radiography (including dental), a Snyder oxygen unit, electrocautery, and video microscope. We also have a veterinarian on staff who is a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner and a certified animal pain manager.  We have an impressive physical therapy center, complete with an in ground pool, underwater treadmill, Companion therapy laser, and PiezoWave shockwave system. West Chester also has 24/7 support staff trained in fear free handling. Furthermore, we have access to an internist, cardiologist, and surgeon who come in and perform any advanced diagnostics or surgeries as needed. This position offers a schedule allowing for a great work/life balance - ER flex, which consists of 10 overnight shifts per 4 weeks for $140K. You will also be eligible for full benefits, $5,000 annual CE allowance, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and up to $20,000 sign on/retention bonus. 

If you live outside of West Chester, but are interested in this opportunity, we are happy to offer a travel stipend, as well as a schedule with multiple shifts in a row. 

We are located in West Chester, PA, which is less than an hour west of Philadelphia. West Chester is a picturesque community with numerous restaurants, hiking and biking trails, shops, parks, gardens, historical sites, and the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail.
