Are you looking for the flexibility of a Relief schedule with the security of a permanent position and full time benefits?

Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking an ER Veterinarian to join us with our new schedule offering – ER Flex – maximize your professional development and career satisfaction as an emergency veterinarian while building a fulfilling, eventful life outside of work.

Our ER Flex clinicians will work a schedule of no more than 10 shifts per month for a straight salary of $140k, up to $20k travel allowance/retention bonus and full benefits.  

We offer a variety of schedule options including but not limited to: 2-3 shifts per week, 5 shifts on/10 shifts off, 10 shifts in a row, whatever works for your schedule. We’ll even pay you an allowance to help with a travel and accommodation if you don’t live locally!

Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital is an AAHA accredited referral and emergency practice, residing in an area that offers many large city amenities, but with a small town atmosphere. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year offering specialty referral services in Surgery, Internal and Cardiology during the day and 24-hour emergency care. Our facility is state-of-the-art, equipped with a Diagnostic lab fully stocked with 3 Idexx catalyst machines, Procyte CBC machine, Coagulation testing (PT/PTT), Urinalysis and Snap test reader, Radiology suite with digital radiographs and a Philips HDX11 ultrasound machine, digital endoscopy, laparoscopic equipment, CT scanner with fluoroscopy to provide 3D images as another diagnostic option, and more.
