The Veterinarian is responsible for the daily care of all surgical patients, ensuring all staff member adhere to proper care of patients. Position will include high volume, high quality spay/neuter surgery and occasional vaccination or preventative care clinics. Our clinic is fast-paced, and our hardworking staff is passionate about the Tulsa SPCA’s mission.
Title: Veterinarian Reports to: Clinic Supervisor Created on: December 2020 Status: Exempt, 40 hours, schedule varies, some evenings may be required and a minimum of two Saturdays per month
Position Summary: Primary functions include providing the highest quality of veterinary care and client education on a daily basis, performing spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, medical assessments and treatments and procedures to improve and ensure the health of Tulsa SPCA animals and animals belonging to members of the public when accessing our public services.
