Want to make six figures, work 3-4 days/week and live in a beautiful place where you can hike, camp, fish, fly airplanes, or ride snowmobiles?  Then come work in beautiful Palmer, Alaska!!!!  Palmer Veterinary Clinic is privately owned by one of the practicing doctors so no corporate concerns or decisions to be met.  We currently have three full time veterinarians and would like to add a fourth full time veterinarian.  We are a daytime only clinic with no after hours or overnight hours required!!!

We are a progressive, modern practice focusing on quality and compassionate care. We just finished a 3,000 sqft addition that has been specifically designed and built for the benefits of the patients and workflow.  New and existing facility includes five exam rooms, comfort room with private entrance, alternative therapy room (laser, stance analysis, possible acupuncture), dedicated dental suite w/digital rads, surgery suite, separate large and small animal recovery areas, separate isolation unit, one dry and two wet treatment tables, new doctors’ offices, etc.

We have bought all new and modern equipment over the last 4 years to include: full in house lab suite, digital X-ray (regular and dental), Companion laser therapy (2 machines), PRP therapy and stem cell therapy, digital microscope, paperless cloud based practice management system, POC blood pressure machines, oxygen cages, multiple warming methods, Cardell monitors, and electrocautery.

Experienced DVM's with the right attitude and work ethic will start at 6 figures.  New grads always welcome to apply as we provide a great mentoring environment with 3 full time doctors available ranging from 4-20 years of experience (one of our doctors started as a new grad with us).  Competitive starting salaries available for new grads.  Signing/relocation bonus, retirement, health insurance and fitness stipend, CE allowance, paid time off, state license reimbursement, DEA fee reimbursement, and malpractice insurance also provided.

Current DVM license and ability to get licensed in Alaska

New grads need to have passed NAVLE or will have passed by start date.

About Palmer Veterinary Clinic
Palmer Veterinary Clinic is the longest running privately owned clinic in the area with a great clientele, long term staff, and awesome clients.  Although the clinic has been around for decades, we have a state of the art lab with brand new machines, digital x-ray, the most current monitoring equipment available, paperless practice management software, and much more.  Palmer is a pet friendly community only 45 minutes from Anchorage, AK.  It has a small city feel-yet has all the amenities one would need  including grocery stores, box stores (i.e. wal-mart), movie theaters, restaurants, farmers market, and is less than an hour away from an international airport, warehouse clubs, outdoor stores (Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, REI), etc..  It is a gateway for outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, skiing, and lots of other recreation activities.
