The Santa Fe Animal Shelter has an opening for a unique position. The Shelter has three hospitals: Shelter hospital, Spay/Neuter Clinic, and a general practice that sees public animals, Clare Eddy Thaw Animal Hospital. All hospitals are non profit, the proceeds go directly to the shelter to help care for homeless animals until they find a forever home. We are currently looking for someone with extensive orthopedic surgery experience who is also willing to do high volume small animal spay neuter 3 days a week. The Santa Fe Animal Shelter offers a competitive benefits package for full time employees. Shelter facilities are state of the art and have all of the bells and whistles. Clare Eddy Thaw Hospital is located at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter Campus in beautiful Santa Fe. Our building is very new and state of the art. Expansive treatment area and large surgery suite. Separate dental suite. Full in house laboratory and brand new ultrasound. Hard working, friendly team! We are a full service general practice serving the community. 100% of proceeds go back into the shelter to help animals in need. The Hospital is open M-S 8-5. We currently see small animals only.
