About Vida Veterinary Care

Vida is a full service veterinary hospital in Colorado with two locations.  Our top priorities are providing an exceptional customer experience and top-notch patient care.  The hospitals are open extended hours to be able to provide general wellness care, perform surgeries, hospitalize ill patients, see emergencies, and offer exotic pet care.  We work closely with a variety of specialists so the client can stay with the people they already know and trust.  Our team is dedicated to ensuring that we always provide the very best and we continually pursue ongoing education to prepare us to meet the pets every need. The variety of talent and highly skilled people on our team allow us to continue to grow and expand the services we offer.  Automated and paperless technology help make healthcare delivery and service efficient.

About the Job

As an associate veterinarian you will be required to work closely with clients to provide the best care for the pet.  Our clients put their trust in you so it is important to honor that trust by making Gold Standard recommendations, having empathy, working together with the client to deliver the best possible care for each situation, and providing them with an experience like no other veterinary hospital so they develop a long-lasting relationship with the Vida brand.  We are currently looking for qualified veterinarians to work regular hours as well as emergency hours.  Exotics experience is a bonus but not a requirement.  We embrace people with the desire to continuously improve and grow and we encourage new ideas.

Qualifications

  • Current veterinary license in good standing
  • Internship trained or experience in high quality and fast paced practices would be the best fit
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong people skills- empathy, personality, humor, warmth, kindness, listening skills
  • A “no task is too small” attitude and the endurance to consistently deliver amazing veterinary care and customer experience
  • Team player who works well with a wide range of personalities

And of course …

  • Passionate about the field of veterinary medicine and moved by the idea you can help people have long lasting bonds with their pets
  • Excited to live and work with a fun and spirited group of bright people in the great state of Colorado!
