Pond Point Animal Hospital has a new opportunity for a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join a thriving hospital in beautiful coastal Connecticut!

Originally opened in 1973, Pond Point Animal Hospital has proudly served the people and pets of Milford, CT and the surrounding areas ever since.  With a fundamental mission of relieving both human and animal suffering through compassion and kindness, Dr. Julia Carter and her team have created a culture of caring, while delivering small-clinic service with cutting edge medicine.  With a strong foundation based in Integrative Medicine and a “whole family” approach to the delivery of care, the team at Pond Point is looking for a like-minded veterinarian to join them in their mission of making a difference in the Milford community, one patient at a time.  The ideal candidate would be a team player with knowledge or interest in Alternative Medicine and an unwavering commitment to customer service.

“My goal in becoming a practice owner was to provide the broadest range of medical options to our patients, and to achieve this we spend a lot of time on the relationships with our clients.”

-Julia Carter DVM

Milford, ideally located on the beautiful Connecticut shoreline, has been called “A Small City with a Big Heart!”  With seventeen miles of Long Island Sound coastline, and a harbor that winds its way to meet the Wepawaug River in the heart of town, Milford provides surroundings most people only see when they vacation!  But a feeling of “Milford Pride”, along with ample cultural, recreational, educational and employment opportunities make the city much more than just a great place to visit.  Rounding out an unparalleled quality of life, Milford offers a strong business community that provides residents with a rich array of small retailers, big-box stores, and amazing dining options.  And when a change of pace is needed, Milford is located just one hour from Manhattan!  With an idyllic blend of small-town charm, rich history, and modern amenities, Milford truly has something for everyone!
