Our 6+ doctor, small animal practice is well-established in a very desirable ocean-side community and is continuing to grow rapidly. Located in South Portland, our spacious facility boasts plenty of parking, a beautiful ocean-side park, shops, restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance. We are just across the bridge to Portland and you can find several sandy beaches and state parks nearby.
We are looking to add qualified individuals to our team who desire to work in a collaborative and client-oriented environment with a focus on providing the highest standards of quality veterinary care.
There is a structured and planned mentorship program led by the two owners of the clinic. New graduates will be trained in all aspects of small animal practice including exams, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and ultrasound. They will have the support of DVMs with 30+ years of surgery experience to develop their new skills and multiple associates to collaborate with to grow their clinical skillset.
Enjoy working in a large, modern facility equipped with a full range of laboratory diagnostics, pharmacy, digital radiography, ultrasound, and extensive medical equipment to support our full range of services. Including 2 full surgery suites, dental procedures, critical care, wellness programs, and day hospitalization for inpatients. There is also a professional Practice Manager with an MBA, which provides consistent and professional management.
No on-call or emergency coverage required, as two 24 hour emergency clinics with specialists are located nearby. We offer competitive salaries and benefit packages commensurate with experience.

We are a very busy small animal practice in beautiful coastal Southern Maine, and have been serving our community for over 60 years. We value the relationships we've built with our loyal clientele, and are fortunate enough to practice in an area where people truly care for their pets as though they are family.We have 6 veterinarians in our practice. Most of our appointments are at least 30 minutes, which allows us to take the necessary time to educate our clients, maintain their confidence and provide exceptional patient care. Our doctors frequently collaborate on cases, which allows our patients to receive the broadest spectrum of healthcare possible. We have recently relocated our hospital to a more spacious facility right here in South Portland.
