Grand Valley Animal Hospital is looking for a full or part time Veterinarian to join our growing, progressive practice located in Grand Forks, ND.  As part of our team, you will learn that we strive to educate clients, build relationships with both clients and pets, and practice high-quality medicine.  We provide a fun, friendly team environment, where our focuses include preventative care, dentistry, surgery, and reproductive services.  We are currently a 2 and ½ doctor practice and looking to expand.  We are looking for someone willing to make a long-term commitment to the area and open to the potential for ownership.

We are open 8-5 Monday thru Friday. We are not open on weekends!  Emergency care is shared between 4 area practices and there is an equal rotation to split holiday on-call service. Our hospital is on-call every 4th weekend and every Wednesday night. After 10 pm all calls are forwarded to Red River Animal Emergency Clinic in Fargo.

We utilizes Abaxis in-house chemistries and hematology, Avimark software, Fuji DR radiology and Sopix digital dental radiology, E-logic GE portable ultrasound, and TonoVet as just a small part of our diagnostic services.  Full surgery suite with cardell monitoring capabilities for EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.  Dentistry is a major aspect of our practice with IM3 high-speed unit with LED handpiece to make our work more efficient. We are fortunate to have an agreement with Dr. Dan Burchill to come in and perform our orthopedic surgeries of TPLO/fracture repair etc. We would love someone with an interest in exotics/avian or complementary medicine such as chiropractic/acupuncture services.

GVAH is offering a competitive salary which includes AVMA and State Dues, liability insurance, Health insurance, CE, and retirement.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Please send a cover letter and resume to: mweber@veterinaryha.org.  Please visit our website https://grandvalleyvet.com or visit us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/GrandValleyVet to gain some more knowledge of our practice.
