Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital is a long standing urban Veterinary Hospital in the Brooklyn, New York area, just outside of New York City. We opened our doors in 1994 and have been servicing the community strongly since then!

We currently have 10 doctors and a total support staff of over 40 employees.

Our goal is to provide the best Veterinary medicine for the borough of Brooklyn. We pride ourselves in being the largest small animal general practice in all of Brooklyn. Our focus is to provide the gold standard of Veterinary Medicine by offering in-house ultrasound services, a full surgical suite equipped for a board certified Veterinary Surgeon, a separate dental suite area, digital whole body and dental radiographs, private and separated cat and dog ward spaces, an ICU ward, and 6 exam rooms. Our Veterinarians work collaboratively by utilizing research and evidence based medicine. A unique opportunity for our Veterinarians is the allotted time on a daily basis to meet with one another and do hospital rounds discussing cases with one another while also providing a census of the patients.

We believe that all Veterinarians need to find their niche and path of what makes them most excited working as a Veterinarian in our hospital; we do so by providing dedicated CE days and CE allowance, on-site CE with varying local partners and specialists, as well as regular check-ins.
