If you want to make a difference in people's lives by helping horses, we want to talk to you. Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals - Navasota has an immediate opening on our team for a full-time hospital focused associate. We are seeking a team player to continue to help build a rapidly increasing hospital caseload of intensive care, post-operative cases, and emergencies.

Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals is a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas.  The Navasota location is a busy, interactive practice and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. 

The current professional staff of 6 veterinarians includes specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, and Acupuncture. 

Caseload is diverse, > 18,000 visits/year and continues to grow after 30 years of business in the area. All breeds and disciplines treated. The hospital is located in the Brazos Valley, a rapidly expanding area 45 minutes north of Houston and 15 minutes south of Texas A&M University. Salary is dependent on experience. Benefits include medical and liability insurance, CE stipends, licensing, retirement, professional association dues and vacation. Buy-in a potential.

The Navasota hospital includes over 40,000 square feet of covered space with a full surgical suite, 4 exam rooms, 47 stalls, 28 paddocks, sand arena, and a dedicated climate-controlled ICU. A second outpatient only location in Cypress includes a covered riding arena. The medical record system is computerized and in the cloud.

Applicants must possess a steady personality, a sense of humor, good time management skills, work well in a collaborative environment and can relate well and build relationships with our clients. Expertise in the areas of internal medicine, general practice, and emergency medicine.

Some experience in reproduction and sports medicine is needed.
