We are a 2 doctor, small animal practice looking for another full-time associate. First established in 1976, our focus has always been providing quality and compassionate care. We offer general practice services, including wellness, medicine, surgery and dentistry, as well as advanced orthopedic and dental procedures.
We have nearby emergency clinics, so there are no on-call or after-hours emergency. We are not open past 6pm during the week and only 8-12 on Saturdays (with veterinarians working rotating Saturdays). Our management is supportive and wants to see veterinarians grow and thrive and we have a wonderful support staff. There is strong mentorship for new grads and a lot of opportunity to learn for those with a special interest in general surgery or dentistry.
Our clients are hungry for veterinary care. You can expect plenty of opportunities to use the skills you've spent years developing. If you like to be busy and learn how staff members play an integral part of your team, you will thoroughly enjoy this opportunity.
Delavan is an historic town in southeastern Wisconsin, with nearby beautiful lakes and state parks, but not too far from major cities. Only 45 minutes from Milwaukee, WI, 1 hour from Madison, WI, and less than 2 hours from Chicago. There are numerous opportunities for outdoor life, including ski hills, campgrounds, hiking and biking trails, and plenty of lake activity.
Delavan Animal Clinic is part of the Prairie Side Veterinary Hospital group. This privately held group is owned by a practicing veterinarian. This arrangement allows us to control costs associated with large practices while giving veterinarians flexibility to practice medicine.
Wisconsin Veterinary Licensure (or ability to obtain same)
