Liverpool Animal Health Center is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for dogs, cats and exotic animals.

We are well equipped with Idexx Cornerstone software,  in-house Idexx Vetlab system, Idexx-DR imaging, Idexx cardiopet ECG, Telemedicine, GE ultrasound, Midmark dental suite and additional IM3 dental unit, Progeny dental imaging, Companion class IV laser, Surgivet monitor system, Doppler, Hot Dog warming system, Tonopen and endoscopy.  Eight highly skilled and fully utilized LVTs and seven animal caretakers support our veterinarians to provide excellence in medicine, dentistry and surgery.   Our staff of 28 is thoroughly dedicated to providing all of our patients with the best possible care, while supporting the human-animal bond with client education and communication. The staff and clinic are currently completing Fear –free certification.

We are seeking a Full Time Veterinarian to join our progressive 6 Doctor AAHA/NYS certified Small Animal and Exotic Animal Practice.  We are located only a few hours from Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Boston, Vermont and the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, which is a great place to live, work and play.  Though we offer a wide range of available services in diagnostics, dentistry, surgery and internal medicine, we have the opportunity to refer to some of the finest board-certified surgeons and internists in the region.

Qualifications

  • Current New York license or ability to become licensed in NY
  • Excellent communication skills, both with clients and staff.
