Emergency Veterinarian

This is an exciting time to join Boulder and Northside Emergency Pet Clinics.  Our business is growing, and we are seeking full time EMERGENCY VETERINARIANS.  We practice progressive medicine at our well-equipped facilities with a highly trained technical staff.  We are busy 24-hour emergency hospitals open days, nights, weekends and holidays.  We work in conjunction with our referring veterinarians to provide the best emergency and critical care services.  The ideal candidate has strong surgery skills, is energetic, fun loving and can handle the stress of working in a busy emergency clinic.  We provide flexible scheduling to allow ample time to enjoy the Colorado outdoors.  Please email your CV to Dr. Cindy Grimm at bouldernorthside@gmail.com.

Skills & Qualifications

  •  Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  •  Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Colorado
  •  Professional appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
  •  Strong medical, surgical and critical care skills
  •  Friendly and outgoing attitude
  •  One year of experience
  •  Experience with Avimark a plus

Job Responsibilities

  •  Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, medical and surgical procedures
  •  Communicate findings and generate treatment plans to clients
  •  Capacity to handle busy patient load while maintaining a positive attitude
  •  Supervise staff and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
  •  Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
