Celina Animal Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time associate veterinarian to join our mixed animal practice. We strive to provide high quality medical care for all our patients and establish a welcoming, education-based experience for our clients. For our small animals, we offer a variety of surgical, medical, and dental services to provide this care. Our diagnostic tools include in-house blood and urine analyzers, digital radiography, and ultrasonography (new ultrasound purchased in 2020). Additional tools and equipment include cold-laser therapy, surgical laser, anesthesia monitoring equipment, and high-speed dental machine.

Celina Animal Hospital believes in a team-based approach to cases and strives to continually adapt to needs of employees and clients. To improve communications and meet changing needs of our clientele, we recently transitioned to a paperless system and launched an online pharmacy for home delivery of prescription foods and medications. We have several knowledgeable, skilled technicians and support staff that prioritize patient care and ensure efficiency throughout the clinic. Our clinic desires to foster continued education and exploration of interests. Specific interests in certain species or services (e.g. orthopedic surgery) will be encouraged and can be expanded upon. We also offer unlimited, convenient access to online VetGirl CE webinars.

Celina Animal Hospital understands the difficulties of balancing family and work life and desires to provide a work schedule to accommodate a desirable work-life environment. Additionally, we understand the financial burdens of veterinary graduates and offer competitive salaries and benefits to reduce those burdens.

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Additional benefits include 401K retirement plans, individual health insurance, licensing fees, and access to online VetGirl CE webinars. Additional compensation will be provided for any emergency services.
About Celina Animal Hospital
Celina Animal Hospital is a mixed-animal practice located in western Ohio. The clinic serves both small (80%) and large animal (20%) patients and currently employs 3 veterinarians, 5 technicians, and several support staff. The practice also has a satellite small animal clinic in St. Mary’s, Ohio. The town of Celina is located on Ohio’s largest man-made lake, Grand Lake St. Mary’s, that feeds into the historic Miami-Erie Canal. Celina is located in Mercer county, which is one of the highest agriculturally producing counties of Ohio and boasts low costs of living. Local activities include boating, fishing, camping, and shopping at many of the small businesses, restaurants, and boutiques. During warmer months, there are often free concerts at local parks and several recreation areas to explore. Mercer county provides a family-based small town atmosphere, but is still conveniently located near several larger cities, including Dayton, Lima, and Ft. Wayne.
