Job Description

Powell Veterinary Center (Powell Blvd) is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our team.

Powell Veterinary Center has been operating for over 80 years and while Veterinary Medicine has changed over that time, our commitment to helping pets live longer and healthier lives has not.

Our team is there for our clients throughout the life of their pet. We strive to provide most services to our pets in house and we are well equipped with the tools you need to enjoy performing all your professional tasks . We have tenured and experienced doctors.

We are open to veterinarians who want to bring new skills to the table and are also willing to foster new skills. We support our veterinarians to learn and use advanced skills in their areas of interest. We provide advanced soft tissue surgeries, dentistry, limited orthopedics (amputations, FHO, ex-cap, etc.), in-house ultrasound, acupuncture, laser therapy, and more. If you are passionate, driven, and a self-starter and want to provide the best care for our clients and patients, we are the practice for you!

We offer a "family feel" but have a national network of colleagues and the robust benefits that a large employer can offer.

In addition to our Emotional Intelligence and Direct Communication training (courses to empower people to stimulate positive change within their practices) we also offer:

Dental, vision, generous sign-on bonus, 401k, paid time off, CE stipend, 8 weeks (about 2 months) paid parental leave, and robust veterinary service discounts for your own pets at any Pathway hospital , Bright Horizons Family Care Benefits, Support Linc- A veterinary specific employee assistance program with virtual and face to face access to PhD level therapists, Carrot-an inclusive and innovative fertility advisor with the most extensive clinical network and discounts on services, Tuitiion.IO which provides 1-2-3 student loan scenario planning and refinancing options.

You take great care of pets... We take great care of you . Apply today!

Please send your resume to Jose.izarpate@pathwayvets.com

If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
