Our very busy veterinary practice is searching for a reliable and qualified Hospital Manager to manage our administrative procedures. To succeed in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of managing a large team, communicate effectively, build relationships with team members and work cohesively with the Medical Directors.

As the Hospital Manager, the ideal candidate will be professional and courteous, with excellent written and verbal communication sills. Will ensure a "Respectful Workplace Policy" is followed by all team members. Possesses effective listening skills. Willing to adapt to change, promotes growth and talent. Builds a strong client satisfaction rating from our clientele. Follow through is very important and possessing a strong work ethic. Veterinary knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor the hospitals budget and prepare accurate reports about your findings
• Perform annual reviews and assessments of team members
• Hiring/Interviewing and selecting qualified candidates
• Analyzes profit and loss statements
• Able to work cohesively with the Medical Directors
• Keep very detailed HR records and work cohesively with our HR department and the Regional Operations Director
• Responsible for training/growing all team members
• Innovative, comes up with solutions that will benefit the team, patients and clients
• Keep detailed records of inventory
• Submits Risk and Safety reports in a timely manner
• Holds regular team meetings
• Looks for ways to raise the bar in regards to "client Service"
• Ensures that safety policies are followed and implemented
• Addresses all maintenance concerns
• Inform employees of new policies and other changes
• Develop work schedules that will support the hospital needs
• Coordinate with support team
• Team building
• Responding to questions from doctors, nurses, and patients in a timely manner
• Ensure patient medical records are kept current
• Accounts receivables
• Accounts payable
• Responding to communication in a timely manner
• Keep records all all expenses and recommend techniques to reduce costs
• Ensure all department comply with the current safety regulations

Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a manager position
• In-depth knowledge of outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solver with excellent time-management abilities
• Understands the process of running a thriving business
• Proven experience with managing multiple team members
• Excel, word and power point necessary
