Casselton Veterinary Service has been voted “Best of the Red River Valley” for the third year in a row.   Join our team and work for a winner.  We are adding doctors and are seeking 6 to 9 veterinary technicians to join our team (license preferred but not required), plus we are offering a $1,500 sign on bonus.  

Our technicians are utilized to their fullest abilities in small and large animal as well as exotics. Applicants should be motivated, energetic, dependable and compassionate individuals that will thrive in a fast paced, busy practice.  These positions are FT; four 9 hour shifts with rotating LA on-call or three 12 hour with rotating Saturday shifts.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

No experience necessary, we have many veteran technicians that are willing and able to train new graduates. Together, we are a team making a real impact on animal health care and the field of veterinary medicine.  We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • We require applicants to be a graduate of an AVMA Accredited Veterinary Technician Program. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational and technical skills.
  • Manages time and task appropriately
  • Ability to work under pressure and stays calm in a high volume and potentially stressful environment.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and good judgment.
  • Regular and timely attendance is required.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • CVS Veterinary Technicians require a 36 hour work week.
  • Depending on location, employee will be required to work either intermittent weekends, LA on-call, overtime and/or evening work.
  • Technicians will be responsible for inpatient care; anesthesia; surgical monitoring; radiology; sample collection and diagnostics; pet wellness and client services.

We are a fast paced mixed animal practice that strives to provide the best possible medical and surgical care for our highly-valued patients. We offer a number of advanced services including advanced dentistry, digital radiography, ultrasound, canine rehabilitation therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, boarded equine surgeon, orthopedic surgeries, oncology and more. We also provide 24 hour emergency service. We currently have an extraordinary team of 12 veterinarians and 70+ support staff.
