Are you ready for a change for the better?

Are you tired of being stuck in a building all day and not being able to speak face-to-face with your clients?

Do you want to be able to provide quality medicine in a low stress environment?

Do you enjoy doing house calls and seeing animals that are happy at their homes?

Do you want weekends off and workdays that end by 6 pm?

Do you have at least 2 years of experience and feel confident seeing cases on your own with the support of a veterinary assistant?

Are you interested in becoming a practice owner or partner?

If this sounds like you, then Eugene Mobile Veterinary Services may be the practice for you.

We are a busy, small animal mobile practice located in Eugene, Oregon.  We see cats and dogs at their homes or at our office.  We are looking for a highly motivated, positive and compassionate veterinarian to join our wonderful team.  Enjoy the fresh air while driving to see our exceptional clients and patients. Every day is different and providing in-home care is rewarding in a way that practicing medicine in a clinic is not.  Our clients and their pets become like family and they are extremely appreciative that we come to them.

We are looking for a veterinarian that feels confident in providing excellent medical, surgical and dental care to our patients.  Doctors always have a skilled assistant with them while they see appointments throughout the day.  The doctor and assistant work as a team and help each other with blood draws and taking radiographs.  Surgeries include minor surgeries such as spays, neuters, mass removals and eye surgeries.

We have two Sprinter vans designed as mobile clinics with state-of-the-art equipment.  Equipment includes isoflurane anesthesia, Dentalaire dental machines, full body and dental digital radiography, Ellman electrocautery, ultrasound, rhinoscopy, tonometry, acupuncture supplies, electroacupuncture machine and cold laser.  We use Idexx laboratory services and in-house/online pharmacies.  A specialty small animal clinic is located in neighboring Springfield with boarded surgeons, internists and an ophthalmologist.  We are also only one hour from Oregon State University's veterinary teaching hospital.

Our appointments are Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm.  Full time veterinarians work 5 days a week.  No after hours appointments or emergencies. We have 45 minute appointments with 30 minutes allowed for travel between appointments. We have fun working side-by-side with our great assistants.

Salary is $110,000 - $120,000.  Benefits include CE, paid vacation, 401K contributions, state license and AVMA/ OVMA fees.

Eugene is located in the beautiful Willamette valley.  It is great for people who enjoy the outdoors, because it is one hour to the coast and less than two hours to the mountains.  It is home to the University of Oregon and is a wonderful place to raise a family.

DVM license in the state of Oregon

Two years of experience

Must be willing to work as a team with assistants.

Experience working with exotics wanted, but not necessary

About Eugene Mobile Veterinary Services
Eugene Mobile Veterinary Services was established in the fall of 2010. It has grown quickly through the years and we now have two Sprinter vans that are equipped as mobile clinics. We have grown even more during the COVID pandemic, because owners want to see their veterinarian and do not want to do curbside appointments. We see dogs and cats in the comfort of their own homes, in our vans (during COVID) or in our office. Doctors always have a skilled veterinary assistant with them to see appointments and help with anesthetic procedures. Our vans are equipped with isoflurane anesthesia, Dentalaire dental machines, digital radiography, dental digital radiography, Ellman electrocautery, rhinoscopy, tonopen, ultrasound and cold laser. We also are equipped for acupuncture, including electroacupuncture. We are located in Eugene, Oregon at the south end of the beautiful Willamette valley. We are one hour from the ocean and 1.5 hours from the mountains. It is a wonderful area to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities.
