Shannon Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare in Midland, Texas. We are a general practice clinic, with no emergency or on-call hours required. Midland is in the western part of Texas and is widely known for its strong oil industry and historical landmarks.  Midland is a city full of cultural sites such as the childhood home of the USA’s 43rd president, theater performances, and abundant parks and recreation opportunities. Sandwiched between El Paso and DFW, Midland offers an international airport with daily service from various airline carriers for easy access in and out of Midland.

Our amazing veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services and we are looking to add another veterinarian to our team! To complement our doctors, we also have experienced licensed support staff, outstanding assistants, a strong practice manager, and a local Regional Manager to provide additional support.

 
Qualifications and skills:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school with an interest in holistic medicine
• Active, non-restricted veterinary license in Texas
• Invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and community
• Mindset and drive to grow skill set and the desire to mentor and train staff to keep them growing and excelling
• Motivated for continuous personal and professional growth
• Team player, go-getter, willing to jump in when needed
• Positive attitude and the desire to learn
• Comfort or desire to grow in the surgery suite (soft tissue, spay/neuter, etc.)
• Feel accountable to our clients, patients, and team
