New England Animal Hospital in Fairhaven, Massachusetts is looking for a full-time Veterinarian to join our team. New grads are welcome to apply!

New England Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital that has been serving the community since 1982. Our skilled veterinarians and great staff take pride in the partnerships created with our pet owners. We enjoy a varied caseload and clients that allow us to practice our best medicine. Our hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography, dental digital radiography, and an in house Idexx lab. We have experienced, long-term support staff and 2-3 technicians to assist each doctor. New England also has a traveling ultrasonographer come every other week.

Recently named one of the most scenic places on the East Coast, Fairhaven, Massachusetts, is a seaside community on the shore of Buzzards Bay, approximately 50 miles south of Boston. There is no limit to the activities available in our area! All over town you’ll find unique shops selling antiques, gifts, fine art and crafts, locally manufactured handbags and chocolates, decorative home furnishings and more. In the summer an arts/crafts/antiques marketplace is held outdoors on the lawn of the Visitor’s Center. Fairs and festivals, an authentic Portuguese fiesta, outdoor concerts, walking tours, swimming at Fort Phoenix State Beach, boating, fishing, and bicycling are only some of the many activities you can enjoy.

Our ideal candidate has good communication skills, teamwork mentality, and understands the importance of client education. New grads are welcome to apply since New England Animal Hospital's veterinarians offer excellent mentorship. Both of our doctors were nominated by the community for "Best of the Best South Coast veterinarians" and placed in the top 3 for the past three years. Our medical director, Dr. Nick Dagenais, was also voted best general practitioner by Rhode Island magazine.

At New England, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Dr. Shelly Wazyniak at swazyniak@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
