Arkansas Veterinary Emergency and Specialists in Little Rock, Arkansas is looking to add an Emergency Veterinarian to their amazing team!

We are looking for someone who wants to work a schedule of 12 shifts every 4 weeks for a straight salary of $150,000 and up to $20,000 in travel reimbursement (for non-local candidates) and signing/retention bonuses.  We offer a variety of shifts and a diverse caseload.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy hospital with a strong support team!

We practice in a well-equipped 8,500 square foot facility in west Little Rock. Our specialties include Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Dentistry, and Ophthalmology, while our emergency team provides both referred and after-hours emergency care. Learn more at https://aveslittlerock.com/ .

Our ideal candidate has an excellent attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as an extension of our specialty team, helping to provide both cohesive medical care and communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and specialists. We are happy to consider an experienced veterinarian, or a new graduate ready to hit the ground running.

Little Rock is a hidden gem of a city, functioning as a cultural, economic, government, and transportation center, but feeling like a small town. Arkansas is an outdoor paradise, with fantastic hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping. The Arkansas River Trail provides 17 miles of rail trail in Little Rock, along the Arkansas River. Several cultural institutions are in Little Rock, such as the Arkansas Arts Center, Ballet Arkansas, and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.
