Companion Animal Hospital in Groton, CT is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our amazing team!

Companion Animal Hospital has been a staple in the community since 1982 and has been AAHA accredited for over 25 years. We are a full service small animal hospital and pride ourselves on the care we provide to every patient. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in house lab, digital radiography, a new ultrasound machine, lift exam tables with a scale in every exam room, an oxygen cage, and equipment for orthopedic and laser surgery. Our newest associate, Dr. Jensen, loves dentistry, so we just recently added a new digital dental x-ray machine and upgraded all of our dental equipment.  We also have access to a veterinary radiologist who comes in as needed for echocardiograms and ultrasounds, as well as a doctor who comes in to perform orthopedic surgeries. We have many long term, well-trained support staff who help our doctors work efficiently, as well as provide after-hours monitoring and care to any inpatients. You can learn more about our hospital at: http://www.tlc4pets.com/.

Our ideal candidate has several years of experience, enjoys general practice and emergency medicine, and is open to working evenings and some weekends. We see a wide variety of cases every day, so you will never be bored!

We are located in New London County, which is on the water and contains endless outdoor activities. Groton is home to a Naval submarine base and is known as the submarine capital of the world. Other fun attractions nearby include the Mystic Aquarium and Foxwoods Resort Casino.

At Companion, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary, quality health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, generous continuing education allowance and additional paid time off, numerous discounts through our partners and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Dr. Shelly Wazyniak at swazyniak@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
