 About Riverside Animal Hospital:

We are a full-service small animal general medicine practice, providing comprehensive pet care to the Longview and Kelso communities. We stride ourselves on having a positive team environment, professional and experienced support staff, and solid leadership. Our doctors and staff are excited to welcome you to the team! We have proudly been serving our community since 1976.

Our Practice:

  • We offer a broad range of services for companion, rabbits and small animals.
  • Comprehensive in-house laboratory and stocked pharmacy
  • Brand new digital flat panel DR X-ray system.
  • Surgical and dental suite with digital dental radiography.
  • Class IV Laser Therapy.

About Kelso, Washington: Tucked away in southwest Washington near mountains and ocean beaches, close enough to Portland’s urban lifestyle of culture, nightlife, shopping, great food trucks and brew pubs, but just outside of the hustle and bustle and traffic. Kelso offers a great small-town community feel and is only two hours from ski slopes in (White Pass in Naches, WA or Mt. Hood in Government Camp, OR). If skiing is not your thing, there is also access to rivers for fishing, kayaking, rafting or day hikes within 30-minutes.  Plus, the pristine coastal beaches of WA and OR are only an hour and a half away!

Qualifications and skills:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school in general practice.
  • Open to experienced and new practitioners.
  • Active, non-restricted veterinary license in WA or ability to attain one.
  • Invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and community.
  • Mindset and desire to grow skills and the desire to mentor staff to keep them growing and excelling.
  • Comfort or desire to grow in the surgery suite (soft tissue, spay/neuter).
  • Take pride in offering unmatched attentive care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood.
  • Strong proficiency or desire to be proficient in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.

NOTES:
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
