Purdy Veterinary Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington is looking for a Washington State Licensed Veterinary Technician.
We are a well established, independently owned 6 doctor private practice, searching for a motivated vet tech to join our existing team.
We have a beautiful, uplifting facility, with an excellent staff of individuals who care about what they do and who enjoy doing it.

Our ideal candidate will recognize that veterinary medicine isn’t just about medicine, but also about building positive relationships with patients, clients and co-workers.
Responsibilities include:
Anesthetic induction and monitoring
Blood draws and running our in house laboratory equipment
Positioning and taking radiographs of patients
IV catheter placement and fluid/medication administration
Handling controlled drugs and following logging protocols
Assisting doctors with flow, including preparing for treatments, procedures and annual exams
Communicating with clients
Directing and working with assistants
Salary range: $20 - $25/hour
No overnights
