New River Veterinary Specialists is growing our Emergency Department for our new custom-built 15,000 square foot facility opening in the Fall 2021. 

We believe that there should be no barriers between emergency doctors and specialists.  Daily all-doctor case rounds provide opportunities for continuous learning.  Emergency clinicians work side-by-side with a group of specialists with ample opportunity to manage critical care patients and benefit from the referral hospital environment.  Our emergency clinicians do much more than just “see the door.”  Complete diagnostic work-ups and manage complex cases, all with specialist support, and develop the skills to be a true critical care clinician.  

NRVS has a full in-house lab, 16 slice helical CT, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, multiple ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full service sports medicine and rehabilitation department, and a dedicated intensive care unit including long-term mechanical ventilation. 

Our Emergency Department is supported fully by specialists Board Certified in Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine, among other specialists. We are searching for a clinician who enjoys working closely with other specialists and other emergency doctors and practices top-tier medicine. At NRVS, our clinicians are our most valuable asset and we’ll give you the tools you need to practice at the highest level.
