As an associate veterinarian at Bridgton Veterinary Hospital, you will appreciate our in-house pharmacy,  Idexx in-house laboratory, digital radiology (including dental), surgical monitoring equipment including BP, pulse Ox and ECG, as well as a highly trained technical and friendly support staff. We proudly utilize Impromed Infinity as our practice management software.

We collaborate with specialists in multiple fields through referrals, as well as through visiting specialists. Our close proximity to several large 24 hour referral and emergency centers allows us to offer our staff the family friendly benefits of no after hours emergencies, and no on-call scheduling. The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and the Angell Animal Medical Centers are also only 3 hours south.

You will find us in Bridgton, which is a vibrant small town located in southern Maine approximately 40 miles north west of the Portland International Jetport, and 146 miles north of Boston and Boston's Logan Airport. The many lakes and beaches are only a few minutes away. We are nestled among many of the state’s most scenic lakes and offer a variety of year-round outdoor recreation activities, as well as easy access to some of the area’s most significant ski resorts, the White Mountain National Forest, historical and cultural sites, and the Atlantic Coast beaches too. Our schools are very highly regarded.

We focus on a very high standard of medicine while working with the client to develop a manageable patient care plan. Our hospital stresses preventive care, dentistry, exceptional medical workups & treatments, surgery, as well as behavior and nutrition counseling in a high service and family friendly environment.

Our staff to doctor ratio is approximately 4:1. Our normal work schedules are flexible and feature no emergency on-call duty. Our technical staff includes ME Licensed Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinary Technician Students. We have a great staff with lots of experience and longevity.
