Looking to fill a position for an associate veterinarian in beautiful, rural Goochland County, Virginia. Full time position available to a dedicated veterinarian specializing in small animal medicine and surgery. Our clinic tries to maintain a good work/life balance with no on-call, 4 day work week(full time), rotating weekend schedule, and family first approach. Requirements include the following: good communication skills with coworkers and clients, a team player, ability to perform basic surgeries, ability to work through medical cases, ability to interpret test results and recommend appropriate treatment protocols, and a willing and caring attitude that puts our clients and patients as first priority.
We are a busy (and rapidly growing) small animal practice currently consisting of 4 veterinarians, 3 technicians (and one LVT student), 7 veterinary assistants, and 4 receptionists. Services offered by our practice include (but are not limited to) the following: routine physical exams, vaccinations, preventative care, basic surgical procedures, dental procedures, digital radiography, in-house bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal testing, microscopy, cold laser therapy, and more. Experience is preferred, but all applicants will be considered. Compensation based on experience and dedication. Serious applicants only, please. We are a small animal practice that includes four veterinarians with supporting staff. Our area is fastly growing, but our practice strives to keep each of our clients and their pets as our top priority. We aim to create and maintain a family atmosphere between our staff and clients. Since we opened in 1993, we have been a large part of the community, and work hard to uphold our known standard of care.
