Forest Trails Animal Hospital is a small-animal and exotics practice, providing quality medicine in a compassionate environment since 1983. We are looking to add a fourth, full-time associate veterinarian interested in small animals, birds, and exotics. Forest Trails Animal Hospital is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, situated close to major highways for easy access and high traffic shopping districts.

Our doctors have almost a combined 100 years of experience to draw on for the diagnosis and treatment of our patients. Our team utilizes both Avimark software and written records. Our hospital offers digital x-rays, ultrasound, microscopic analysis, pharmacy, and located next door to full diagnostic laboratory.

Forest Trails Animal Hospital is proud to offer:

  • Generous compensation package
  • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and life insurance
  • 401 (k) plan with employer match
  • AVMA PLIT liability insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Continuing Education allowance
  • Reimbursement for licensure fees and professional membership dues
  • No on-call or emergency hours

The ideal candidate would be friendly, compassionate and motivated to care for pets and people. A good sense of humor and high level of professionalism would be optimal. Diagnostic experience with ultrasound and good surgical skills are a plus, but freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged.

New graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered.

Please take a look at our website, Foresttrailsanimalhospital.com or find us on Facebook! If you are interested in learning more about our hospital, or submit a resume, please contact our Practice Manager Jennifer at ftah@mypm.vet.

We look forward to hearing from you!

About Forest Trails Animal Hospital
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
