Are you a veterinarian who is burning out from toxic workplaces or stressful schedules or unhappy clients?  We can offer you a better workplace to do what you enjoy - providing great medical care to animals.  Come work in a place where the animals and clients love you back.

Heal Vet is a young, privately owned, progressive, small animal general practice located just outside of Boston MA ready to welcome a fifth veterinarian to our growing staff.  We have grown quickly because it’s easy to provide a better customer experience when you are surrounded by a fun, talented, engaged group of co-workers who feel supported and cared for by each other and the owners and managers of the company.

All aspects of our hospital are focused on a Low-Stress/Fear-Free process from the design of patient flow, to making sure we are adequately staffed to enjoy our days, to our staff’s animal handling techniques.   You can learn a lot about who we are and how we work by reading our reviews on Google and Yelp.

You will fit in well with us if you are fulfilled by building connections with your clients and value a collaborative team-based low-drama working environment.  The doctor group at Heal is a mix of highly experienced and younger vets and we enjoy working on tough cases as a team; valuing each other’s input and support.  The schedule gets set up with generous appointment times to give you the opportunity to consult with clients about their options and to build bonds.  Our partnerships with house call vets gives us a high surgery load, our work with shelters and low-income clients allows us to give back to those in need of care, and our work with ACOs gives us the spice of working with wildlife.  We meet each pet and owner in our lovely and diverse population where they are at, allowing them to make educated decisions, and support what they choose.

The advantages of working in greater Boston include several specialty hospitals nearby who support us on complicated cases and handle our after hours emergencies, plus visiting cardiologists and internists that join us in-clinic as needed.  There is need for more exotics and alternative medicine practitioners in the area so we’d be happy to support vets who bring the interest and skills.

The Boston area is great place to live - full of cultural, academic, and outdoors opportunities.  Heal is a great place to work - compensation and benefits include health insurance, 401K, flexible paid and unpaid time off, profit sharing, pet care allowance, CE and training…and there is parking, as well as easy access to public transportation.

Our recently renovated facility has ample natural light, is decorated with bright colors, and set our comfy exam rooms up like small living rooms.  And we’re equipped with lots of fun tools for doing our jobs including ultrasound, therapeutic laser, in-house labs, digital radiography, dental radiography, cautery, suction, surgical monitoring including capnography, Doppler, tonopen, etc.

So if what we are doing resonates with you, here’s what to do next: send us an email to manager@heal.vet   Let us know what you connect with and what kind of skills and interests you would like to bring to us.  We will set up a call and then figure out a COVID-safe way to meet each other.  It will be fun!
