We are a growing small animal clinic with some large animal clients looking for an enthusiastic vet to join our team. Dr. Yates opened the clinic in 1992 and we have become well established serving Sumter, Lake, Marion, Citrus, and Hernando Counties.

While we are a general practice we see a diverse range of medical and surgical cases. Though there are referral clinics within an hour we are called on to field most of our cases in hospital. This allows our doctors opportunity to grow and gain experience in any area of interest. We enjoy mentoring and working as a team collaborating on cases; so we encourage both new grads and veterinarians at any experience level to apply.

We are currently paper light, but we are migrating to a cloud based software this year as well as upgrading our blood work machines. Along with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and now U/S we have the diagnostic tools, staff, and desire to help our patients live long, happy, healthy lives.

We are currently a small animal only practice, however, we have large animal clients who would be happy to receive our services again if the applicant is interested.
