Strong customer service skills, an outgoing, friendly personality and the ability to multitask are essential. Experience in a veterinary setting is required.
Job Duties~
We strive for a fear free approach to all patients utilizing pheromone sprays, lick mats and even singing to them!
Obtain medical history, vitals and accurate body weight, then record the information into the electronic medical record using curbside protocols
Prepare vaccinations
Fill prescriptions
Run in house lab work. Training will be provided for all equipment!
Proper restraint for catheter placement and blood draws
Proper positioning for diagnostic imaging - radiograph and ultrasound
Surgical preparation including patient preparation using aseptic techniques
Anesthesia monitoring
Client education
Other duties, including management, may be added with on the job training if so desired
