The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, seeks two small animal emergency and critical care specialists who are enthusiastic with a passion for teaching to join our team. 

These are full-time positions with excellent benefits, including a generous sign-on bonus, 4 weeks of vacation, start-up funding for clinical equipment or research endeavors and office electronics. Funding support for conference (continuing education) travel is provided. Ability to do up to 4 weeks of consultation work outside our referral area is also included. 

The positions offer opportunities to develop innovative teaching programs in the classroom and clinical setting as well as participation in collaborative research/scholarship activities if desired but not required. Development of an internship or residency program will be supported. 

Competitive endowed chair positions are available. Qualified candidates will be considered for these positions.

Qualifications include a DVM or comparable veterinary degree, residency training in small animal emergency and critical care medicine and certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency Critical Care (ACVECC) or the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ECVECC). Candidates qualified to take the ACVECC or ECVECC certification examination are highly encouraged to apply.

You will provide instruction, consultation and patient care at our Boren Veterinary Medical Hospital actively participating in one-on-one training of veterinary interns and students and working alongside colleagues to provide the highest standard of veterinary care.
