Lamar Animal Medical Center located in Lamar, Colorado is searching for a full time mixed animal veterinarian to join our team. Our mission is to treat all animals as our own.  We value our team, our culture, and the rural environment of Southeastern Colorado where we are located.  This position requires a team-attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills. 

Our growing veterinary practice includes 2.5 doctors and 4 veterinary technicians.  LAMC the features the most advanced medical technology in our rural area with digital x-ray, in house bloodwork, and ultrasound machine.  We have just completed a new large animal facility.  The position includes a 4-day work week and rotates a half day on Saturdays and on-call emergency nights and weekends.  Veterinarians work with each other to provide flexible scheduling and time off as desired.  Pay is based on production.  Additional opportunities for teaching at Lamar Community College or participating in community education are available to an interested candidate.  This position is open to new graduates as well as experienced veterinarians. Lamar, Colorado is ranked among the most affordable places to live in Colorado.   This position is eligible for the loan forgiveness program, and two veterinarians of this practice have qualified in the past.
