Our privately owned small animal clinic has recently expanded to meet the needs of our clients. We strive to uphold our promise statement “Loving our community through quality care of your pets.” while serving the Tuscaloosa, AL area. Located only miles from the University of Alabama our 5 exam room clinic offers surgery, ultrasound, digital X-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house lab equipment, and boarding. As a walk-in only clinic for daily appointments we are seeking someone to keep up with our busy flow. Currently our clinic is run by 3 doctors, two of which are about to be on maternity leave, so this position will start as a temporary Associate Veterinarian beginning at the end of April with the possibility to extend into Fall. Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
Active State License in good standing
Excellent communication skills with clients and other staff members
Surgical skills and previous experience preferred
Ability to work independently and efficiently keep up with work flow
High code of ethics and love for animals
Abililty to adapt to new computer software & processes
