At Pet Shield, we offer laser therapy which is mostly used after surgical procedures such as spays and neuters but can also be utilized after dental extractions and to heal wounds. For our older patients with arthritis, we also use the laser to help reduce inflammation in joints. Our clients seem pleased with our ability to help with pain using more of a holistic approach, such as using CBD oil and CBD treats, joint supplements, and synthetic hormone collars and sprays. By offering non-medical intervention, it gives our clients the option to decide based on their level of comfortability. 

North Branford is a friendly rural community with agricultural roots. It is located 15 minutes from Yale-New Haven, 1 ½ hour from NYC, and 2 hours from Boston. With a highly rated school system, it is a great town to raise a family. Not only are we apart of a small town with a close interactive community, but we are also only an hour and a half drive from Boston, MA, and New York City!
