Are you ready to love where you work? Gambrills Veterinary Center in Gambrills, MD, is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic professional to join our team as a part-time Associate Veterinarian. We are conveniently located on a major highway just 20-30 minutes from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis.

Our 7,000 sqf. practice is the areas only full-service animal hospital offering not only medical and surgical care but boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare. Our practice specializes in providing high quality, compassionate, and convenient care for our patients. We see our clients and patients as extended family.

We offer many high-tech services including, rigid endoscopy, laparoscopic spays and gastropexies, cold laser therapy, an operating laser, digital dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, incubators, human grade anesthesia machines with isoflurane and sevoflurane as well as ventilators and extensive monitoring equipment, bone plating equipment, gas sterilization and almost any medical or surgical toy you would like to use.

Yes, we are AAHA Accredited and proud of it! In addition to dogs and cats, 40% of our patients are exotics and we routinely see birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Currently, we are a 2-doctor practice.

We are looking for an individual with a sense of humor and a drive to learn. The right candidate will have a strong interest in medicine, be client-oriented, have great client education skills, and be a team player. We are open to all levels of experience.  Impromed Infinity software is utilized.

The position is FULL TIME although PART TIME will be considered. Compensation is highly competitive starting at 110K for a new grad plus a bonus paid on ProSal.  Earn what you deserve.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • A Doctor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine and a valid Maryland Veterinary License
  • This would be an excellent opportunity for a new graduate
  • Great client and staff communication skills
  • Excellent medical skills
  • A willingness to see exotic pets is a plus

NOTES:
2 openings.

Additional Salary Information: Compensation is highly competitive starting at 110K for a new grad plus a bonus paid on ProSal. Make up to 150K.
