We are searching for a skilled LVT with surgical experience to join our team! This position can lead to Practice Mgr for the perfect candidate!

Job Description:

Ideal candidates are expected to have graduated from a veterinary certification program and have 2-3 years of experience in small animal practice, although certification is not a requirement. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The position will require the performance of several duties including those of room technician, client education and outpatient appointments, general surgery and maintenance of the facility.

Responsibilities:
Candidates for this job should be proficient in all aspects of basic and advanced animal care to include, but not limited to: animal restraint, administering oral and injectable treatments, placing IV catheters, taking x-rays, drawing blood, running lab tests, and operating and maintaining diagnostic equipment as well as inducing, intubating and maintaining and monitoring patients under anesthesia.

Requirements
Must be able to lift #50, must be available for rotating Saturday shifts.
