Located in the heart of Dallas – Fort Worth, I-20 Animal Medical Center is searching for an intelligent, passionate, and experienced DVM to welcome to our team. While quality of life is important to us to provide to all staff, we are also very passionate about making sure that our patients are continuously provided the best care possible. Being a 24-hour emergency hospital that is open year-round, we are currently looking for the right team member to fill one of our overnight positions that can uphold our core values of customer service, exceptional skill, and extraordinary care while striving to build a culture of family, home, and excellence.

I-20 Animal Medical Center is an emergency care hospital, but also provides general care, boarding, grooming, and dental services. Not only are we AAHA Certified, but we are Cat Friendly Certified and working on becoming Fear Free Certified! We do most lab work in-house and have a wide range of diagnostic capabilities including digital radiograph, ultrasound, laser therapy, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound/echocardiography (portable and stationary), and generators for oxygen and electricity.

Our staff, including 13+ doctors and technically skilled managers, is jam-packed with quick-thinking, competent, passionate employees that have a care and love for every patient that comes through our door. From routine exams or boarding to our critical care patients, our employees are eager and willing to both support our doctors and learn from them. Our incredible Medical Director, a residency trained criticalist, Dr. Cindi Welch, is also here to mentor, train, collaborate, and assist with any case that comes in.

We reward our Veterinarians with a highly competitive compensation package, and potential sign-on/retention bonuses. We provide a long list of benefits including insurance (health, vision, dental, short-term, long-term, life, accidental, critical care, etc.); pet care discounts; competitive salary with bonus potential; professional liability coverage; DEA, license renewal, and dues coverage; CE allowance; and paid vacation.

We encourage you to visit our website for additional information about our doctors and practice at www.i20animal.com. If you are qualified and would like to be included in our applicant group or would like more information about the position and/or our surrounding area, please contact our Hospital Administrator, Susan Kipp, at susan.kipp@nvanet.com with your resume and availability (please note any schedule requirement or limitations).

We are looking forward to hearing from you!

About I-20 Animal Medical Center
The veterinary profession isn’t like any other—it’s the only field predicated on the love of a patient who can’t tell you what’s hurting and can only look to you for help. It takes a special kind of person to do that job, or the jobs supporting that job. NVA doesn’t create those special people—we find them, cultivate them, and give them resources and opportunities to do what only they can do. Whether treating patients, managing a pet resort, or serving hospitals from NVA’s Support Center, NVA’s animal professionals are caring people, united by a love of animals. NVA is proud to honor that connection and is committed to serving our team members by providing them with the tools, support, and freedom to be the professionals they’ve always wanted to be.
